How to remove a photo background, step by step

Upload your photo

Troubleshooting
I get “No clear subject found”
The model could not find a subject that stands out. Try a photo where the subject is larger or separates more clearly from the background.
Processing is very slow
Browsers without WebGPU switch to a lighter method, which can take longer. The latest Chrome or Edge is usually faster.
“Image resolution is too high” error
Up to 40 megapixels is supported. Reduce the image dimensions and try again.
