Why does the first run take longer?
On first use the background removal model is downloaded to your browser. This happens only once; later runs start much faster.
Which files can I upload?

Results and quality
What is the difference between Preview and HD download?
Preview is a quick PNG with the long edge scaled to 1280 pixels. HD is a lossless PNG with a transparent background at your image's original resolution.
What if the result has small mistakes?
Use the eraser next to the result to brush away unwanted areas. The quality checklist also points out possible issues such as edge halos or background residue.
What format is the result?
A lossless PNG with a transparent background. Semi-transparent edges such as hair and fur are kept without colour loss.
